2016 Xmas Rock-POP music recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Christmas rock-POP song has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day, Phuket website .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a unique up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and semi recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then awaiting the possibility to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session players to studio record the tune durring a 6 week period. The track consists of 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark wanted the best result and quality. The music ready to be heard and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key aim of recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then hopefully in-turn they’ll be kind enough to contribute to one or any of the Phuket charities, and to also download the track.
One other definitive goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and setup a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the local schools and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ is not currently open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to advertise his tune Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own personal experiences while he was working in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to simply help including a Thailand Accommodation and budget flight booking to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
