THE TORONTO MUSIC GARDEN

The Toronto Music Garden offers free music and dance programming through the summer. Admittance to this beautiful waterfront facility is free seven days a week. A garden was made from the world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma and landscape designer Julie Moir Messervy as a reflection in landscape of Bach’s First Suite for Unaccompanied Cello. Buy 19 free concerts come early july, featuring outstanding artists along with a wide range of musical styles, from medieval love songs to finger-style guitar. Concerts occur in the Toronto Music Garden of all Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 4 pm and so are approximately 1 hour long.

Beaches INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL
From July 7 to 30, the Beaches part of Toronto’s east end holds this not-to-be-missed festival. This can be a unique music festival being community-based and free. This coming year, over 700 artists will attract a crowd well over A million fans. The lineup consists of over 100 bands playing different types of music including Jazz, Big Band, Reggae, Calypso, and Blues.
