Shri Radhe Maa’s Journey
Shri Radhe Maa is a spiritual luminary born in a tiny capital of scotland – Dorangla in Punjab. At this young age where other girls were using their dolls, she decided to completely devote her time towards bhakti of Lord Shiva and Devi Mata. When she turned 18, Radhe Maa’s was married to Mohan Singh, a booming businessman residing in Mukerian, Punjab.
This marriage ended up being to be considered a turning point in Shri Radhe Maa Ji’s journey towards spirituality. Throughout a visit to a historical Lord Shiva temple, she met Shri Shri 1008 Mahant Ramdeen Das (139-years-old during his death last year according government records), a very acclaimed saint who turned her spiritual life around. “Chandi (a fierce kind of the Devi) has graced this temple today,” said the Mahant. From on that day onwards, she began to visit the temple every single day and gives worship to Lord Shiva.
While attending household chores that were section of her duties, she continued her tryst with spiritual devotion. Radhe Guru Maa’s sensitive, kind, generous and resplendent personality attracted numerous devotees to her. Her devotees requested her to hold satsangs, jagrans, pujas as well as other religious services close to their vicinity. She responded by graciously throwing her doors open to all who wished to attend. Several families credited the jagrans with solving their personal, financial, familial and professional problems.
As her reputation spread, individuals as well as families invited her with their homes with the hope that her presence would inspire their lives for that better. Her subsequent travels took her not only to cities in India, but also to locations throughout the world, including the UK, Switzerland, Middle East and Canada. Devotees are not anticipated to donate towards Shri Radhe Maa’s darshan. The meals served at her gatherings, the musical performances and the Darshans have the freedom. Her teachings center around the principle of surrendering oneself to God, and regular bhakti as ritualistic worship and devotional chanting from the names from the Hindu deities Lord Shiva and Devi Mata.
She currently resides in Mumbai with the Gupta family, that are true devotees of Radhe Guru Maa. A Mata ki Chowki is conducted by them every 15 days at Shri Radhe Maa Bhavan in Borivali, which is open to all without the exception. Heartwarming bhajans and prayers are offered to Lord Shiva and Durga Mata. Shri Radhe Maa also blesses her followers on the evening of the chowki.
