Solid Timber Home furniture at Buywood
Plenty of love switches into the items of solid timber furniture created at Buywood, in the quality workmanship of our own very skilled craftsmen right through to your input as a client commissioning a customized piece. With this post we wanted to provide some clues about what differentiates the timber furniture made at Buywood using their company furniture makers across Australia.
High Quality Solid Timber
At Buywood Furniture we use excellent, recycled solid timber from sustainable sources to produce unique, timeless furniture pieces. Once built, our timber pieces undergo an extensive sanding and polishing process by skilled polishers. As every piece of furniture is personalized at our Alderly workshop, some of our furniture designs can be customized with all the excellent timber which you decide on.
Made to order Furniture
Our specialty at Buywood is creating customized pieces to fit the actual needs of our own clients. Members of our team enjoy meeting customers personally on a one-to-one basis to establish their requirements and ensure the solid timber furniture they commission is an ideal fit for their home. Lee Kenny, who owns Buywood Furniture hand sketches all designs made by the Buywood team, and oversees each design from initial drawings to final polishing. If perhaps you were involved in designing your item, you will end up invited to Alderly workshop to check on its progress, and our experienced team will help you with installing the piece in your home.
Four Generations Strong
Lee Kenny can be a 4th generation furniture maker who works across each of the custom furniture created by the Buywood team. He prides himself on a traditional way of furniture making, which decelerates the assembly process and utilises traditional joinery techniques to create pieces that keep going for a lifetime. These days when the way forward for Australia’s manufacturing industry is uncertain, Buywood Furnishings are proud to have been Australian made and Australian owned for four generations of craftsmen.
