2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A fresh 2016 Xmas rock n roll track has been written, composed and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of getting attention and exposure for the Phuket island charity and Orphanage that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs sound is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo guide since then looking forward to the chance to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark started the studio recording process and used local session players to record the tune over a six week period. The songs includes 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was done in the USA because of Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The track ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The main goal of recording I’m coming home for Xmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site as possible and then ideally in-turn they’ll be good enough to contribute to one or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
One other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the track to fund and set up a Phuket live music pub with open stage and studio / teaching room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged children from the local schools and children’s orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to advertise his song Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong back in 2004 when the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to regional Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous methods to help including a Phuket Villa and budget flights to Phuket booking system. Every cent helps.
Credits: Mark would like to thank his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
