The tunes title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the tracks genre is a special up-tempo rock/rock-pop song. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the chance to record once again. In August 2016 Mark started the recording process and used session players to record the track durring a 6 week period. The songs includes 8 differant tracks and all session players were from the Philippines, including the female lead vocalist ‘Micah Javier’.
Even though I’m coming home for Christmas was studio recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was made in the United States as a result of Mark wanted the most effective result and quality. The music ready to be listened to and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The main purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many people to the Tsunami Day site as we are able to and then ideally in-turn they will be good enough to give to at least one or all of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the song.
The other primary goal is to be able enough downloads of the song to fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free lessons and tuition to local underprivileged kids from the neighborhood colleges and children’s orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open yet but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day web site to market his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Xmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there is numerous methods to help including a Thailand Accommodation and cheap flights to Thailand booking system. Every dime helps.
