Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Review

The Galaxy Note10+ will be the biggest Galaxy Note Samsung’s released yet it is quite possibly usually the one using the fewest differences by reviewing the smaller Samsung galaxy s siblings, also. Even size doesn’t are much of a differentiator anymore, as the six-month-old Galaxy S10+ is often a scant few millimeters shorter and narrower compared to the mighty Note10+. This is how I’ve ended up after using the phone for a couple of weeks, and i also can not shake that comparison.

For your stylus die-hards, the Note remains without meaningful competition. Improved on-screen handwriting recognition and additional remote camera control features keep the S Pen feeling fresh (theoretically), though you’re not planning to use whatever game-changing updates over the Note9 there. The Note10+ does pack some year-over-year upgrades worth speaking about: the battery is a bit under 10% larger, and also the screen has a little over 10% more surface area. There’s a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and double storage and RAM – 12GB, an amount whose usefulness outside technical marketing is questionable – and you also get the first true fast charging in the flagship Samsung phone (25W with all the included charger, 45W if you purchase the ultra-fast charger). There is also an ultrawide rear camera, an alternative selfie camera, and Samsung’s controversial in-display fingerprint scanner.

Written, then, the new Note is actually a step-up from last year’s. The problem is that a lot of those upgrades debuted about the Galaxy S10+ recording, and that phone adjusted on discount usually that Samsung’s $999 MSRP simply doesn’t apply. Using the Note10+ coming in at an eye-watering $1100 while an S10+ has frequently been available for $800 or less, Samsung’s biggest competition would seem to become itself. As the stylus-faithful probably aren’t interested in that value proposition, for those who simply bought the Note as it was the most effective Samsung phone, it’s increasingly difficult to ignore.
