When have to the great wedding speech be presented…?
How weddings have changed in the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a simple wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
While we’re talking about rogues, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of a marriage and guests do anticipate hearing them, talking about them before, during as well as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, in the meal and after your food, however it is of the strong opinion that this groom speech should be delivered as soon as the meal. I am aware that for several bridal party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they’d choose to hold the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (a number of them are spending money for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and just how many of them (and even the wedding venue staff) would rather the wedding ceremony speeches being delivered after the meal for most reasons, a few of which include:
The invited guests have already been fed and watered and are not listening to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival on the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal in addition to their is actually a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition from the meal to the dancing (broke and alone happening after the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared regarding the Bride & Groom then they understand they’re able to get up, move, have a break, take a stroll, go to the bar…)
It can be hard for folks from the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public, as the majority of them couldn’t survive used from it. So, they might, whenever they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.
There should still be some sort of formal wedding speech(es) as soon as the meal…
