When must the perfect wedding speech be provided…?

How weddings have changed on the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding party members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals in order to six course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

These are aforementioned, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of a wedding and guests do look ahead to hearing them, speaking about them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.

We know of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, during the meal and after your food, however it’s of an strong opinion the wedding speeches ought to be delivered following your meal. I realize that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father of the Bride Speech, Father of the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they will would rather have the wedding speeches prior to meal, for them to enjoy their meal (a lot of them are spending money for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and exactly how many (and indeed the wedding venue staff) would prefer wedding ceremony speeches to get delivered after the meal for many reasons, many of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which could be prior to the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival with the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served in the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches prior to the meal as well as their might be a delay of 15 minutes one.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches become the transition from the meal towards the dancing (without a penny happening after the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared regarding the Bride & Groom and they do know they are able to wake up, move around, have a break, go for a walk, visit the bar…)
It’s not easy for parents in the Bride & Groom to speak in public areas, as the majority of them would not be used of computer. So, they may, if they so wished, speak before the / their meal.

There should nevertheless be some form of formal wedding speech(es) following the meal…
