Any time must the great wedding speech be delivered…?

How weddings have changed over the decades! From the handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; an easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1 to 3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

Talking about the latter, wedding speeches are still a fundamental part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, referring to them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We are all aware of father of the groom speech delivered prior to meal, in the meal and after the meal, however it’s of a strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered as soon as the meal. I am aware that for most marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they’d would rather have the wedding speeches before the meal, to allow them to enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and how a lot of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would rather the marriage speeches to be delivered following the meal for a lot of reasons, some of which include:

The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches before eating any breakfast (at least of food, which would be before the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served at the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches prior to meal and their might be a delay of Fifteen minutes to 1.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy trying to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding speeches behave as the transition from the meal to the dancing (without a penny happening after the meal, folks are expecting ‘a few words’ to become shared regarding the Bride & Groom after which they are fully aware they’re able to stand up, move, take a rest, go for a walk, go to the bar…)
It’s a challenge for parents with the Bride & Groom to speak in public, the majority of them may not be used of computer. So, they can, when they so wished, speak prior to / their meal.

There should still be some sort of formal wedding speech(es) after the meal…
