The moment have to the perfect wedding speech be presented…?
How weddings have changed over the decades! From a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a straightforward wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are aforementioned, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of a wedding and guests do look forward to hearing them, talking about them before, during and even after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of groom speech delivered prior to meal, in the meal after your food, yet it’s of the strong opinion that this wedding speeches should be delivered after the meal. I know that for several marriage ceremony speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father in the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (the 5 main speakers), they would choose to have the wedding speeches ahead of the meal, to enable them to enjoy their meal (some of them are paying for it!). However, it’s all about the invited guests and how many of them (and even the wedding venue staff) would prefer the wedding speeches to get delivered as soon as the meal for most reasons, many of which include:
The invited guests have been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be the case ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served with the agreed time (introduce wedding ceremony speeches prior to meal in addition to their might be a delay of 15 minutes to at least one.5 hours, driving living rooms staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition in the meal on the dancing (broke happening after the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ to be shared in regards to the Bride & Groom after which they understand they can stand up, maneuver around, take a break, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for parents from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, as the majority of them may not be used than it. So, they might, whenever they so wished, speak before the / their meal.
There should nevertheless be some sort of formal wedding speech(es) as soon as the meal…
