ACIM And Also The Meaning Of The Secret
In the last year, lots of people have approached me asking me about my perspective, and the perspective of A Course in Miracles, about the popular book and film The Secret. As I find it, The Secret provides a few powerful and necessary global messages worth appreciating.
The initial message is that our thoughts use a powerful relation to our life. The subsequent insight is we are entitled to a wealthy life, although true wealth is a bit more than merely cash and “toys.” Instead, it demands feeling fulfilled in most areas of life, including our relationships, career, and health. What we want to do is look within to find if, actually, the world thinks value authentic wealth.
Another message that is certainly subtly conveyed inside the Secret, and something i believe to be true, is the fact that when we use a heartfelt desire and we say yes to doing our part to manifest the will, synchronicities arise, and dormant forces sparkle.
On the other hand, I feel the concept that more “toys” by means of cars, houses, jet planes, and boats will make us happy and will also be the demonstration of our ability to manifest is potentially damaging and crippling for many individuals who’re already “bankrupt” from the areas of self-love and self-appreciation. The situation using this type of picture is the desire to have often develops from a sense of lack as opposed to a a feeling of completeness.
